Mentor Team

John (staff) and Jeanette Schwartz have been ministering in Manhattan with Ichthus since 1996. They have been married 26 years and have five children aged 21 to 7. After several years of splitting ministry between younger staff and students, John is delighted to be focusing on student ministry again — as well as stepping back into more direct strategic leadership. Jeanette, an occupational therapist to children and devoted mom, ministers to students in soul care and mentoring wisdom as she is able.

Brooke and Sarah Beyer are K-State grads and long-time friends of Ichthus. Brooke taking an accounting professorship at KSU in 2017 has allowed the Beyers to step (again, they were here in 1996 too!) into team leadership with John and Jeanette. The Beyers have been married ?? years and have seven children aged 21 to 4. Both of them have deep hearts for collegians and love to minister and mentor and care for them in any way possible!
