GATHERINGS
We’re all about making disciples of Jesus who obey his teachings and help others do the same.
If Jesus really was God in human form, and if God is really light (1 John 1:5) and love (1 John 4:8), then following Jesus is without exaggeration the best thing you will ever do. We all need him. We were all made for him. But the world we live in is confusing and we need help to really be Jesus’ students.
Gathering together can be part of this help. We’ll gather Thursday evenings to study the Bible together, sing praises to God (or just listen if you’re not so much into group singing yet), hear others talk of what God is doing in their lives, and pray for God to powerfully work for good in the lives of people we know and love.
If you have questions about Thursday nights, contact Leah Beyer at leahbeyer@ksu.edu. But if the above description seems appealing, feel free to just show up on a Thursday night and check it out.
We meet at 8pm at the Cornerhouse Christian Ministries building, 1801 Anderson Ave (catty-corner from the KSU Alumni Center). You can park on a close-by street, or there’s lots of parking in the K-State parking lot north of St. Isidore’s. (Just don’t park in the Alumni Center lot unless you want to give them some of your money.)
